OUR TEAM

Kelly completed her Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Ballarat in 2003. She was employed at St John of God Hospital in Ballarat and completed her graduate year nursing on the surgical/medical and orthopaedic wards. Kelly was offered a permanent position on the surgical/urology ward and thoroughly enjoyed her work.

Kelly joined the Ballarat Surgicentre Clinical team when the Day Hospital was established in 2015, and commenced in the role of Clinical Services Manager in 2016. As Clinical Services Manager Kelly gained valuable training and experience and was promoted to Director of Nursing in August 2019.

As Director of Nursing, Kelly is responsible for the clinical and operational functioning of the Ballarat Surgicentre. Her primary role is to ensure that the Ballarat Surgicentre is managed according to current standards and meets all statutory requirements.

Kelly is enthusiastic and passionate about leading her team in providing the highest possible level of care to each consumer according to their individual needs and preferences within a safe, supportive and friendly environment.

In her spare time she enjoys photography, going for bush walks and camping.
